Celebrating the one hundred days remaining until the festival, “Positivus” has announced another addition to the program: the fast-rising British rap star Nemzzz and the no less fast-growing domestic rapper Wiesuli are offered the festival for hip-hop fans.
Starting his musical career quickly and strongly with the world-famous compositions “Elevate” and “2MS”, British rapper Nemzzz has been firmly in the sights of hip-hop fans and connoisseurs since 2021. “The artist’s characteristic lyrics are enhanced by dynamic beats inspired by Jamaican rhythms, giving his music an edge of diversity,” says Positivus.
On the other hand, everything is clear about the native Wiesuli – the songs of his and sangvn’s latest album “en prise” are gradually taking over the top of the most streamed singles by domestic musicians in Latvia, and this creative tandem will surely provide an even hotter performance than last year.
Three more recent applications to the festival program are the duo from Australia “Royel Otis”, the Lithuanian Daddy Was a Milkman and the domestic rock veterans “Satellites LV”, who, among others, were seen on the “Positivus” stage at the very first festival in 2007.
It should be reminded that the American singer, dancer and actor Jason Derulo, one of the musicians of the Atlanta group “Migos” Offset, the British rock group “Nothing But Thieves”, the domestic rap classic Ozols, the rock group “Detlef” will perform at this year’s “Positivus” festival. British singer Benjamin Clementine, multiple “Grammy” award winner, jazz pianist and vocalist Jacob Collier, Will Butler & Sisters Squares, former member of Arcade Fire, and Manchester group “Picture Parlour” will also perform in Lucavsala. The festival will also feature singer Angelica Garcia, artist Jordan Ward, the hot “Other Boys” and many, many others.
