The incidence in Bavaria was roughly at the level of the previous week (780.8). On Thursday, the Bavarian value was still 839.8.
With the coronavirus numbers, however, it must also be taken into account that experts have been assuming for some time that there will be a high number of cases not recorded by the RKI – due to overburdened health authorities and because not all infected people have a PCR test done. Only these count in the statistics.
In Bavaria, the RKI reported 16,357 new Covid 19 cases on Friday. The number of deaths rose by 31 to 23,526.

In Bavaria, the incidences were highest in the districts of Bad Kissingen (1137.9) and Kulmbach (1129.8) and in the independent city of Ansbach (1108.4).
