TASIK CITY – The increase in positive cases of Covid-19 in Tasikmalaya City occurred again Friday (02/10) afternoon. A total of 2 patients confirmed positive from recent mass swabs.
This was confirmed by the spokesman for the Tasik City Covid-19 Task Force Team, Ivan Dicksan. He said, the total number of patients confirmed positive has now become 208 cases.
With details, as many as 137 patients were quarantined. Of the 137 quarantined patients, 16 quarantined patients were confirmed positive from symptomatic and 121 isolated patients confirmed asymptomatic.

He explained, his party had evacuated patients who were confirmed positive yesterday Thursday (02/10) from the pesantren cluster of 40 people.
“Yes, we returned to pick up 40 confirmed positive patients using 10 ambulances from the pesantren cluster to the isolation room at Rusunawa Unsil in Tamansari,” he explained.

Head of the Health Service Division of the Tasik City Health Service (Dinkes), Dr. Titik said, there are 40 patients who have now entered the Rusunawa to be isolated. So the total number isolated has now become 72 people.
“Currently, there are 72 people who are undergoing isolation in Rusunawa. All the patients are from the pesantren cluster, ”said Titi at the Rusunawa location.
Titi added, the condition of the patients in Rusunawa was quite good because they did not show symptoms of Covid-19.
“However, they must be isolated to prevent transmission. Patients from the pesantren cluster are between 11 and 20 years old, ”he explained.
