KARIMUN (HK) – The number of positive confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Karimun today has increased again. On Saturday (28/8/2021), the Task Force for the Acceleration of Handling Covid-19 in Karimun Regency reported the addition of 24 positive confirmed cases of Covid-19.
With the addition of 24 positive patients today, the cumulative number of COVID-19 in Karimun has reached 5,062 people.
The addition of 24 cases was the most in Tebing District with 10 people, followed by North Kundur 6 people, Meral 5 people and Karimun District 3 people.
The COVID-19 case update report was sent by the spokesperson for the Karimun Regency Covid-19 Handling Acceleration Task Force who is also the Head of the Health Service, Rachmadi at the WAG Team for the Karimun Regency Covid-19 Acceleration Handling Task Force.
“Today, there were 24 additional confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Karimun,” said Rachmadi.
There were 13 patients who underwent treatment at M Sani Hospital, 6 people were treated at Tanjungbatu Hospital and 8 people at RSBT.
Rachmadi said that there were 15 symptomatic confirmed cases and 9 asymptomatic people.
Meanwhile, there were no confirmed travel cases reported today, 9 people contacted and confirmed no travel history or close contacts as many as 15 people.
Today there is an additional 1 patient who died. With this, the total number of COVID-19 patients who died in Karimun has reached 126 people.
The good information is that the number of recovered patients has also increased by 30 people, bringing the number to 4,718 people. (ham)
