Nyitdah Hospital Director, dr. Nyoman Wisma Brata explained, the patient with the initials IDS who had been treated since Tuesday (8/9/2020) was suspected of experiencing depression due to exposure to Covid-19.

“The patient was discharged from the inpatient room. Probably because the patient was so depressed rampage in the hospital, “said Dr. Wisma Berata, Thursday (10/9/2020).

Wisma continued, the patient also attacked the health worker (nurse), causing it nurse those fears.

“Our nurses were frightened, meaning they were confronted by all. Patients like this are just healthy but positive is the problem,” he said.

He continued, the next step that will be carried out is to coordinate with the Covid-19 Tabanan Handling Acceleration Task Force (GTPP).

His party also admitted that he had consulted a psychiatrist.

“And now in the process of treatment to calm the patient first,” he said.

“The point is we first secure (the patient) and also coordinate with GTPP in this case the Satpol PP as well. We also had time to contact the police, but we returned to coordination with the task force,” he added.

Wisma stated that at the time of the incident, service at Nyitdah Hospital was interrupted.

“Because the problem is now we have to secure the patient first, because with this condition we are afraid of carrying wooden beams because previously the information was carrying blocks. So we have to secure it with the authorized team,” he said.
