/ world today news/ Immediately before election day, Bulgarian society witnessed gross attempts to illegally influence the election process. The published report of DANS, through the leadership of the National Assembly, provides sufficient grounds to investigate the actions of the Deputy Minister of e-Government Mihail Stoinov, as well as to demand the resignation of the Minister of e-Government.
The facts that have become known give rise to a widespread contestation of election results and a demand for their cancellation. We from the LEFT! we express the doubt of the vast majority of citizens in the honesty of the machine vote.
We demand that it be clarified under what pressure and for what the Minister of e-Government was subjected to by political persons, whom he named by name at a meeting of the Presidential Council of the National Assembly.
We emphasize that the responsibility for organizing the elections rests with Mr. Denkov’s government and the parties that announced it.
We await a decision of the CEC that will restore, at least partially, the confidence of Bulgarian citizens in the electoral process.
All our concern about the manipulation of the electoral process, through a huge number of invalid ballots, remains. The CEC and the Ministry of the Interior are obliged to show the public that they are capable of overcoming these doubts.
Buying and selling votes is a crime!
