However, there are some opinions that it is realistically difficult to introduce a four-day workweek in some manufacturing industries. A manufacturing official said, “POSCO’s decision to implement a four-day workweek every other week is an unusual case, and it is not realistically easy for a domestic manufacturing company to introduce a four-day workweek due to various circumstances.”
