Posan Tobing Prohibits KotaK Band from Performing His Songs: Complete List of Prohibited Songs

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com– Posan Tobing musicians strictly did not allow the KotaK band to perform their songs.

Through a short sketch on his Instagram @posantobing, Posan presents a situation when two buskers perform their song entitled “Pelan Pelan Saja”.

Instantly the busker immediately stopped singing because he saw Posan.

“I’m sorry, I’m afraid of being subpoenaed,” said the busker quoted by Kompas.com, Wednesday (12/7/2023).

Posan who heard the busker’s apology immediately laughed.

Posan then insisted that only KotaK could not perform his songs.

While other singers have no problem performing their own songs.

“It’s okay, it’s okay, just relax. What I’m not allowed to sing my songs with is KotaK,” Posan said while banging the table.

“If you want buskers, cafe players, artists, it doesn’t matter, but if KotaK sings my song, I don’t allow it, go on, bro,” added Posan, who asked to continue the song.

Previously, Posan and singer Julia Angelia alias Pare had sent an open subpoena to the KotaK Band, which consisted of Tantri, Cella and Chua.

As for the subpoena, Posan and Pare strictly prohibited KotaK from performing their own songs, starting from their own creations to joint ones.

“Here we prohibit singing on TV, social media, at off-air or on-air concerts both in Indonesia and abroad,” Jerys Napitupulu as attorney for Posan and Pare in the Tebet area, South Jakarta, Friday (7/7/2023) .
