National Basketball Associations (NBA) Washington Wizards player Kristap Porzingis he expressed confidencethat in January the results of the unit he represents will be better.
It has already been reported that the Wizards beat the Sacramento Kings 125-111 last night. The Latvian stood out with seven points, 13 rebounds and two blocked shots in the allotted 34 minutes and 24 seconds.
It was the team’s second win in three games, but before that they had won just one of 14 games and had a ten-game hitting streak in December.
“Those of us who take the field are top-level players. Everyone should be a star in their role. It’s important to us and the game against the Kings showed what happens when it is. We still need time and luck. Also , the calendar was quite heavy, I think January will be a different story” Porzingis said.
Furthermore, the Latvian revealed that when he returned to the field after the illness he felt better than he expected. “I just enjoyed the show from Kuzma and some other guys. I’m happy that I was able to make at least one contribution to the team in this match,” the Liepāja native stressed.
