He is Portuguese, worked as a concierge at a nightclub in Benidorm, Spain, and is the key witness in the trial on the murder of an Alicante mayor in 2007. In court, he accused a Spanish PP politician as the perpetrator of the crime.

The Portuguese worked as a doorman at the Mesalina nightclub in Benidorm, and it was in the VIP area of this nightlife space that the crime was outlined. He is considered a key witness to the process and his identity has been protected by the Spanish authorities.
Behind a screen, the Portuguese told the Alicante National Audience in mid-January that in exchange for the crime he was offered 35,000 euros but said he refused the service, read in the online edition of the weekly. He added that he suggested the names of two men – Radim Rakowski and Robert Franek, of Czech nationality – but who does not know if they were the perpetrators of the murder. The two are among seven defendants in the lawsuit.
