The official value of the coin will be 7 euros, a clear reference to the legendary number that has accompanied Cristiano Ronaldo throughout his successful career, both in clubs and with the national team. The number 7, which is also part of his world-famous nickname “CR7”, has been an emblem in the player’s career, and is now immortalized in this collector’s item.
The first images of the coin, which features Ronaldo’s face alongside his name, are already circulating on social media, generating great expectations among the footballer’s fans and collectors alike. It is expected to be issued in a limited number of copies, making it a sought-after item both in Portugal and abroad.
This tribute follows other accolades the Al-Nassr striker has received in his home country. In 2014, a bronze statue was erected in his honour in his hometown of Funchal on the island of Madeira.
