The European Union (EU) response to the pandemic could bring Portugal this decade, between the multiannual financial framework ending this year, the new framework starting in 2021 and the recovery fund created especially for this crisis, plus 57.9 million euros in European funds. There will be almost 6000 million euros per year that will be available to the country, something that represents a challenge for those who, in previous years, have shown difficulties in implementing European funds on time and with quality, which, on average, are much smaller.
