Gonçalo Ribeiro, Gabriel Brás, Hugo Félix and Carlos Borges among the ideal team of the competition
Portugal is the team most represented in the best eleven of the European under-19, released this Thursday by UEFA. Goalkeeper Gonçalo Ribeiro (FC Porto), centre-back Gabriel Brás (FC Porto) and forwards Hugo Félix (Benfica) and Carlos Borges (Manchester City) were chosen by Joaquim Milheiro’s team to be part of the competition’s ideal team, which was eventually conquered by Italy.
It should be noted that the Portuguese team, runners-up of the tournament, is also represented in the choice of the five best goals scored in the competition, with the accurate shot by midfielder João Vasconcelos (Sp. Braga) against Italy, on the 2nd round in the of groups, to be one of the bids awarded by the organization.
