This Thursday, Portugal was eliminated in the quarter-finals of the Beach Football World Cup, losing to Belarus, 4-3, thanks to a goal one second before the end of extra time.
Ihar Bryshtel was the great figure of the match, scoring four goals for the Belarusian team, in the 13th, 14th and 18th minutes, the last from a penalty, in addition to the goal that beat Portugal, scored one second before the end of extra time.
Duarte Algarvio (9′) still gave Portugal an advantage and Jordan (23′) and Bernardo Lopes (29′) took the game to extra time, but did not prevent the elimination of the world champion in 2001, 2015 and 2019, the last two titles already organized by FIFA.
