Amid the hype about the announcement of the appearance God of War on PC Sony told who is responsible for porting the project. According to information provided by Ars Technica, the Japanese company has confirmed that the studio Jetpack Interactive from Vancouver, Canada working on a God of War port for PC.
Jetpack Interactive sprang up from three studios, Black Box Games, Deep Fried Entertainment, United Front Games, and works with a core team that can grow depending on the size of the project, according to the official website. The studio mainly helps with game development and porting.
Jetpack Interactive has worked on the following projects:
- ORCS MUST DIE! Unchained – port with PC on PS4
- Plants Vs. Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare II – development assistance
- Dark Souls – Steam version support
- NBA Live 14 – Development, Art, Design and User Interface in Game Modes
- NBA Live 15 – Development, Art, Design and User Interface in Game Modes
- NBA Live 16 – Game Modes UI
God of War (2018) will be released on PC on January 14, 2022 on Steam and the Epic Games Store.
