The WhatsApp messaging application will incorporate new functions in the coming weeks, among which are the ‘stickers’ in their animated version and the possibility of adding contacts through QR codes.
After introducing the ‘stickers’ in 2018, WhatsApp has now added a new version by presenting animated sticker packs, that the company aims to make them “more fun and expressive”, as it has assured in a statement sent to Europa Press.
After testing the function in its latest beta versions, WhatsApp has announced the arrival of the QR codes, a characteristic with which the service Allows users to be added quickly by scanning codes with the mobile camera, thus avoiding having to enter the phone numbers manually.
The messaging application and allow video calls with up to eight participants, and now users can focus attention on one of the participants and maximize it by holding down your window. It is also going to add a video icon in group chats of eight people or less to be able to start video calls with a single touch.
Among the rest of the news that will come to the application is also the dark mode for computer, which can be used from WhatsApp Web and the desktop version, while the states that disappear every 24 hours will also reach WhatsApp versions for the KaiOS operating system.
These functions will be available to users of the latest versions of WhatsApp. In the next weeks, as confirmed by the application owned by Facebook.
