The María Porto Art Gallery, located in El Corte Inglés de Castellanapresents the first solo exhibition of Russian artist Elena Ksanti. A series of works dedicated to the deeper study of the world we inhabit. Under the title “Portal”, Elena Ksanti constructs a work that forks into different paths which, according to the artist, are the decisions that each person must make throughout their life. Her painting is a metaphor for those phases of the soul and “those almost always paved streets where our conscious and uncontaminated being awaits”.
The artist’s main interest focuses on light and darkness, black and white, water and fire, basing his work on creativity and the premeditation of personality. His abstract art, in which he combines colors, brightness, shapes, intends to provoke in the viewer an extraordinary calm, peace, balance, harmony and perfection.
The exhibition, Ksanti’s first solo show in Spain, is composed of abstract works of art that evoke a deep sense of introspection and self-reflection, which on many occasions goes beyond the canvas itself to show the purest reality through the abstract. She builds his works by highlighting the main duality between the differences that exist within him, capturing them in this exhibition, which will be present at the María Porto Art Gallery in El Corte Inglés de Castellana until 10 November.
