Led by the Joint Container Control Unit (UMCC) under the supervision of the Head of the Dakar Port Customs Subdivision, the operation was carried out on the basis of intelligence, cross-checks and risk analyzes. This is how three (03) containers from European ports and manifested as containing personal effects are identified and targeted.
When the said containers are opened, the nine (09) vehicles are discovered. These are 1 DS 7 Crossback, 3 Peugeot 3008, 2 Peugeot 5008, 2 Toyota Rav 4 and 1 Toyota CHR.

Checks carried out by Interpol revealed that the vehicles had been declared stolen. The network of counterfeiters of documents, in particular registration cards and false Consumer Release Certificates linked to this affair, has been put out of action.
