Porsche has unveiled the electric Macan. This is the first time the company has electrified one of its existing models.
The new Macan is equipped with a 100 kWh battery. It supports fast charging that charges the battery from 10% to 80% in 21 minutes.
The crossover will be sold in two versions:
▪️ Macan 4: two engines with a total power of 402 hp, 479 Nm of torque, from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds, top speed 219 km/h
▪️ Macan Turbo: two engines with a total power of 630 hp, 833 Nm of torque, from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.1 seconds, top speed 260 km/h
Both cars have all-wheel drive and air suspension as standard. The company will publish data on the power reserve later. It is expected that the basic version will be able to travel ~500 km on a single charge.
The new Macan has a steering rear axle, thanks to which the rear wheels can turn by 5 degrees.
A small trunk appeared in front, and a third touch screen was added inside for the front passenger with support for Spotify and YouTube.
Otherwise, the interior is similar to other Porsches such as the new Cayenne and Panamera. A large selection of interior materials and colors will be available in the configurator.
Macan 4 will cost $80,450 or 7.1 million rubles. This is the price without additional options. Prices for the Macan Turbo start at $106,950 or 9.5 million rubles.
The company is already accepting pre-orders. Deliveries of the vehicle will begin in the second half of 2024. [The Verge]
