More spatial

Porsche turns out to be lord and master in filling niches. With the Coupé flavor of the Cayenne the brand has embraced the concept of the coupé-SUV and with of Panamera Sport Turismo the brand has a station-like variant of the Panamera on the menu. The brand liked that Sport Turismo concept. The electric Porsche Taycan also has such a more spacious version. With de Mission E Cross Turismo concept car Zuffenhausen already gave a clear signal. Such a Turismo version of the Taycan, it would come. A disclosure will probably not be long in coming. Porsche has sent a virtually uncamouflaged test specimen out the door.
It is exactly what you expect: a Taycan with an almost shooting brake-like carriage. The roofline of the Cross Turismo continues to the rear before it dips down. This undoubtedly benefits the headroom in the back of the car. You can also count on a larger luggage space, plus of course a larger tailgate. The Taycan as we know it today has a luggage compartment with a volume of 366 liters. It remains to be seen whether the more spacious version of the Taycan will also get a version with plastic trim placed higher on the legs. Should that come, then it is obvious that it is precisely that more adventurous version Cross Turismo will be called. The regular variant could then be called Sport Turismo, just like the Panamera.
Electric powerhouse
As far as powertrains are concerned, the new variant is identical to the already known Taycan. Count on the arrival of a 530 hp 4S version as well as a mighty 680 hp Turbo and no less than 761 hp powerful Turbo Sflavors. The entry-level version, the 4S, has a 79.2 kWh battery pack, good for a range of over 400 kilometers. If you order the Taycan 4S with the optional 93.4 kWh package, you get 40 extra horsepower and a larger one range of 463 kilometers. The Turbo and Turbo S models have the larger 93.4 kWh package as standard. This brings the two respectively 450 and 412 kilometers further along the WLTP cycle.
