The duo 718 is the gateway to the world of Porsche sports cars around the world. With a new generation in sight until 2025, Porsche continues to introduce new features for both, such as the Spyder, GT4 and GT4 RS versions launched in recent years. Now the German takes up the news with the arrival of a new special series, the Style Edition.
The sporty ones are distinguished mainly by a design with novelty. It features the exclusive Ruby Star Neo color scheme, which pays homage to the 911 Carrera RS of the 964 generation. The special series also features 20-inch wheels that can be painted in the same color as the body stickers, like the models in the images: black or white, which will be offered free of charge.
These stickers are found on the hood, starting with the logo, as well as on the sides, with the Porsche name. Laterally, it starts from the front bumper and ends at the bottom of the doors. At the rear, the changes concern the exhausts with Porsche logo in silver and the exhausts are darkened. No. 718 Boxster Edit stylethe boxster lettering appears in relief on the bonnet.
Inside, the novelties are a black leather finish with contrasting pinstripe stitching (white), as well as illuminated sills. The material of the window sills is stainless steel. The interior still has the brand logo on the back of the seats. As standard, they maintain the same equipment as the civil versions.
In mechanics, the German equips the duo with a 2.0 Turbo Boxer petrol engine with 300 hp and 38.8 kgfm of torque. In Europe, you can choose between a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 7-speed PDK dual-clutch automatic. According to Porsche, it accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 5.1 seconds or 4.7 seconds (manual and automatic respectively) and reaches a top speed of 275 km / h. In Brazil it comes only with the PDK gearbox.
