The model family of the current generation Porsche 911 has grown by another member who received a GTS plaque. Under its hood we find a 3.0-liter twice-supercharged six-cylinder boxer type, which offers the highest output of 353 kW (480 hp) and 570 Nm of torque.
The GTS series thus offers 30 kW more than the current Carrera S series or the previous generation GTS. Compared to the previous generation GTS, the novelty has also improved by 20 Nm of torque. In combination with the PDK dual-clutch transmission, the new 911 GTS can accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 3.3 seconds, 0.3 seconds faster than the previous generation.

For all 911 GTS models, a seven-speed manual transmission is also available, the lever of which has been shortened by 10 mm for even faster shifting just by moving your wrist. Coupe and convertible models offer the option of ordering with rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. However, all-wheel drive is standard on the Targa.
The GTS tries to differentiate itself from other models in the 911 series with a number of black-painted or darkened body accessories, such as light frames, a front spoiler, center nut wheels or engine cover blinds. There are also black lacquered GTS inscriptions on the sides or stern, while the Targa also has a black lacquered roof arch.

In addition, all GTS models receive the Sport Design package with its typical elements on the bow, stern and specific sill extensions. The car is also equipped with LED headlights as standard (PDLS Plus), while the rear lights have their own graphics. The wheels have a diameter of 20 “at the front, 21” at the rear and, like the brake system, come from the 911 Turbo model. In addition, the GTC also has a sports exhaust system as standard.
In the interior, we find a standard specific GTS sports steering wheel, Sport Chrono package, Porsche Track Precision application or a tire temperature monitor. Sport Seats Plus seats are also standard, combining support and comfort. In addition, the carmaker removed the soundproofing material to enhance the impression of a sporty ride.

The upholstery uses a large Race-Tex microfiber, which appears, for example, on the steering wheel, center of seats, door handles, etc. The carmaker has also chosen decorative stitching and there is also the GTS logo, which is emphasized several times. A Lightweight Design package is also available at an additional cost, which adds carbon sports seats, thinner side and rear windows, removes the rear bench and helps save up to 25 kilograms.
Finally, an interesting feature is the use of the new PCM 6.0 infotainment, which now supports the connectivity of Apple Car Play and Android Auto and offers even more comfortable and natural voice control in response to the Hey Porsche password.
