For its 75th birthday, the Porsche car company gave itself a modernized emblem, which is characterized by a combination of gold, red and black colors.
Soon, however, a number of models bearing the Turbo name will also celebrate their 50th birthday, which will also try to distinguish themselves from their regular siblings with their own logo.
Its content remains the same, so it again refers to the city of Stuttgart and the former federal state of Württemberg-Hohenzollern. But instead of bold colors, he got a color called Turbonite, combining metallic shades of gray and black.

The Turbonite color will also appear on other accessories of the car
However, the Turbonite color will not only adorn the car company’s logo. It should also appear on other parts of the body, such as the mask inlays, wheel spokes or aerodynamic wheel inlays, window frames or model markings. But the result will depend on the specific configuration.
In the cabin, a Turbonite-colored logo should appear on the hood of the steering wheel, but the same color could also decorate various controls, seat belts and other decors. Similar to the exterior, it should always depend on the specific equipment. For cars with a black interior, Turbonite color could also play a contrasting role on the seats, door panels and other places.
But we will learn more only on November 24, when the automaker will present the new Panamera model. It is the new Porsche Panamera Turbo that will become the first car to bring accessories in the Turbonite shade to the public.
“We introduced the first turbocharged 911 in 1974. Since then, Turbo has become synonymous with our high-performance top models and today is more or less a brand in its own right. Now we want to make the Turbo model even more visible and differentiate it from other derivatives such as the GTS,” comments Michael Mauer, Vice President of Porsche Style.
