Yesterday, we informed you that the Minister of the Environment in Italy and a former member of the Board of Directors of Ferrari has initiated negotiations with the European Union on measures to ban internal combustion engines, which should be imposed from 2035. He wants some Italian brands to be spared on the grounds that they produce a small number of cars, and the technology for switching them to electricity is an expensive and extremely complex undertaking.
Porsche does not seem to agree with this decision, as was clear from an interview with Oliver Bloom to Bloomberg during the exhibition in Munich. He believes that such an exception will simply not be justified.
He believes that everyone should fight against climate change, despite the fact that they sell a small number of cars. Bloom also mentioned the advantages of electric cars and added that they would be invincible over the next decade.
