Well, the passion for Porsche is like the magic potion, Jean-Michel fell into it when he was little and never came out. “It’s a fairly old family passion, since my grandfather owned a Porsche 356 Pré-A, in 1953, which he had bought new in Paris. It is therefore associated with childhood memories and then we have always been passionate about cars in the family.” This is how he inherited his father’s Porsche 996, “a family 911 that I intend to keep”.
In addition to keeping a model that is dear to him, the succession of the Porsche passion is assured. The daughter of Jean-Michel and his wife is also a fan of cars and therefore gets into the Porsche without hesitation whenever the opportunity arises. And as an enthusiast, Jean-Michel also insisted on having an air-cooled Porsche in his garage with a Porsche 993.
The more I spoke with Jean-Michel, the more I realized that Porsche was an integral part of his life and history: “When I was little, we went on vacation with our friend’s Porsche, so I very early associated sporty car, dream car with the brand”. He ends up telling me with emotion that he has realized his childhood dream.
