Porr supplies technology for UK infrastructure project

The construction company Porr is supplying the Slab Track Austria technology for the major railway project HS2 in Great Britain. The new railway line will run from London to Birmingham and on to Manchester and Leeds. Porr is supplying 453 km of slab track technology for an order value of around EUR 286 million (GBP 260 million).

“With our technology, we enable almost maintenance-free rail operations at top speeds. We are proud to make a significant contribution to improved mobility in Great Britain with our patent, ”says Porr CEO Karl-Heinz Strauss.
