/ world today news/ Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko’s enterprises supply Russia with goods worth about 30 million dollars a year, one of the leaders of the Ukrainian party “Union of Ukrainian Patriots” (UKROP) Vitaly Kupriy announced on Saturday (January 16), citing of data from the State Tax Service of Ukraine.
“This is clear from the answer to my parliamentary inquiry to the chairman of the State Tax Service, Roman Nasirov, regarding the export to Russia of products from the enterprises of oligarch-president Petro Poroshenko,” Kupriy said on Facebook, as quoted by “Vzglyad”.
According to him, the document states that on average Poroshenko delivers goods to Russia with a total value of about 30 million dollars. At the same time, the politician reminds, there is a ban on trade with enterprises from the “aggressor country” in Ukraine, and Ukrainian diplomats are trying to convince the EU countries and the USA to extend the sanctions against Russia.
“Such trade is immoral!” commented Kuprii.
“These enterprises (of Poroshenko, note ed.) requested to be refunded VAT in the amount of 230 million hryvnias (over 9 million dollars), of which 216 million hryvnias were received. Taking into account the delay in payments, this makes 100%,” the leader of UKROP claims.
“All this is happening against the background of the enormous difficulties that ordinary businesses face in returning the tax due, which is practically impossible without bribes. Poroshenko obviously has no problems either in trading with the aggressor or with returning VAT,” commented the politician.
“This man, of course, has no problem with his conscience. The person without a conscience is not impressed by the evaluations of his dishonest actions!”, Kuprii indignantly.
The politician lists the “enterprises of the oligarch-president Poroshenko” that trade with Russia. Among them are the “Central European Confectionery Company”, the “Roshen” chocolate factory, the “Leninska Lyarna” machine-building plant, “Ukrprominvest-Agro”, the “Podolye” food company, the “Agroprodinvest” holding, and the “Bogdan Motors” automobile plant.
