Security officials are investigating criminal proceedings under the criminal scheme of supplying coal from the temporarily occupied territories of Donbass.
The investigators of the RRB were unable to hand over the summons to the fifth President of Ukraine, People’s Deputy Petro Poroshenko. This is reported on the site office on Friday, December 17th.
The SBI recalled that, in cooperation with the SBU, they are investigating criminal proceedings under the criminal scheme of supplying coal from the temporarily occupied territories and assistance to the terrorist organizations “LPR” and “DPR” by a group of Ukrainian citizens.
The proceedings are being investigated under articles on the financing of terrorism, high treason and the creation of a terrorist organization (part 1, part 3 of article 258-5, part 1 of article 111, part 1 of article 258-3 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
“To establish all the circumstances of the criminal proceedings and make appropriate decisions, employees of the State Security Bureau near the Verkhovna Rada tried to hand over a summons to the People’s Deputy of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, but he ignored the representatives of the law enforcement agency and left in an unknown direction,” the message says.
The RRB claims that they act exclusively within the limits and in the manner determined by the legislation, including by summoning officials and delivering relevant messages.
Previously Poroshenko visited the SBU, where he was interrogated in connection with the supply of coal from territories controlled by the “LPNR” separatists.
