LOS ANGELES – Women working in the porn industry are often harassed by obsessive fans. However, one porn star met a stalker while filming her movie, who was even a member of the production crew. She talked about this unpleasant experience on Holly Randall’s podcast.
During her career in the porn industry, Romi Rain worked with many unpleasant people who only abused her. Although the overall trend in this industry is towards better conditions, according to Rainova, it was not always so. “I’ve had naturals send me messages and photos after scenes saying, ‘Do you want to meet me?’ said Rainová. One crew member was even fired because he kept harassing her and even claimed they were dating.
“I actually had to send the production company transcripts of all the messages this guy sent me,” she said. “I didn’t answer or I said, ‘No, I’m not dating people who work on set, I’m not dating directors or crew,'” she continued. However, she was faced with a difficult task – to prove that the staff member was lying and to confirm that they never had a sexual relationship. In addition, she had to share the lewd messages and perverted photos that the man sent her.
However, Rain experienced several moments during her career when she did not feel comfortable. “I’ve had a lot of situations where I’ve been on set and the director or someone has said, ‘Hey, I know it’s a male-female scene, but would you mind if he stuck a couple of fingers up your ass?’ You’re naked and you’re having sex with someone and all these people are standing around you, so you’re in a very vulnerable position at that point.” revealed the porn star and added that anal sex is usually for an extra fee.
When she openly admitted that she was not happy with this proposal, the staff members began to press her. They claimed that their idea would spice up the scene. “They really put you in a position where you felt like you had to do something, and if you said no, it would upset them or cost you your job or your reputation that you’re not as good as someone else,” Rain added.
