Since the Cipta Kerja Bill was discussed by the government and the DPR, a number of groups have expressed opposition to it.

Kompas.com on Sunday (4/10/2020) reported that even the Confederation of Indonesian Workers Unions (KSPI) and 32 other trade union federations were planning to hold a national strike on October 6 to 8, 2020.

They assess that there are various points that are detrimental to workers in the Job Creation Law.

Meanwhile, according to the Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga Hartanto, the Job Creation Law can encourage debureaucratization.
