1. Azerbaijan asks Armenia for 30 years compensation for damages in Karabakh

For the second time in a week, Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev asked Armenia for compensation for infrastructure damage in the Karabakh region.

President Aliyev asked for compensation for 30 years.

“The enemy has destroyed the entire infrastructure. They will be held accountable for everything in an international court,” Aliyev said.

2. Putin’s path to make immune from law smoother

The lower house of the Russian parliament, the Duma, supported a draft law (RUU) that would provide Russia’s president and his family with immunity from criminal prosecution after they leave office.

The legal immunity bill revives speculation about Putin’s political future. He has been in power since 2000, exercising tremendous influence and protection.
