According to Ifop’s monthly barometer for the JDD, Emmanuel Macron’s popularity remains stable compared to October with just over a third of French people satisfied (35%). Satisfaction with the president remains a minority in all categories of the population. It also records decreases in the traditionally more favorable categories, in particular among executives (41% satisfied, -3 points compared to October) and the French aged 65 and over (43%, -2 points) .
Elisabeth Borne shows a drop in popularity of two points, with 36% satisfaction, the lowest level measured since her arrival at Matignon in May. In detail, the Prime Minister’s popularity dropped significantly among executives (37% satisfied, -7 points) and residents of Ile-de-France (37%, -6 points).
