A press conference was held today in the Rococo Hall of the 1st Rock Cafe of Latvia, where information about the festival “Gates” was provided. The festival “Vārti” will take place on Ventspils region Pope open-air stage on July 25, and the group “Turaidas Roze” will perform there. The authors of the rock conference “As a land, as a sea, as a sky” written in 1984 participated in the press conference Juris Kulakovs and Juris Sējāns, singer Olga Rajeckas and the author of the project for the restoration of the historical veranda of Pope Manor – architect Zaiga Gaile. Instead of three days this year, the festival “Gates” invites to one artistically rich day. After almost 40 years of rebirth on the Pope open-air stage, the rockatorium “Like the sea, the earth, the sky” created by Imants Kalniņš, Juris Kulakovs and Juris Sējāns in 1984 will be performed by the group “Pērkons”.
