A joke pronounced behind closed doors during the last assembly of the Italian bishops was enough to unleash rumors about the possible resignation from the throne of Peter of Pope francesco. According to some media, in fact, it was Bergoglio himself who said that rather than having his knee operated on, he would resign. A joke, nothing more, yet in the Catholic galaxy, more or less interested sources have begun to spread unofficial news about a pontificate at the end of the credits.
