The association’s website stated that the meeting was held in the hall of Casa Santa Marta in the Vatican and lasted about 50 minutes. Sister Gramik wrote on her website, “For me, this meeting was very emotional. Last year, on the occasion of the nun’s 50th anniversary of her service to gay and transgender people, the Pope wrote to Sister Gramik to say “thank you” for all her “closeness, compassion and tenderness” towards these people.
