You won’t find any hit productions among the 24 new tracks; instead, the German megastar relies on mainstream music. The pop queen is even promoting her record label as a “pop icon”.

Vanessa Mai (29), who started out in the “Wolkenfrei” pop group, provided a template for this. And it is more than successful with it. “

Leonard also believes in the persistence of the successful German music style. “I myself stand by Schlager, and I don’t care whether Vanessa Mai or Helene Fischer call themselves Schlager or Pop singers,” he says. “The question is rather whether the new orientation will actually reach a broader group of fans. I dare to doubt that. “

New album from 0 to 1

It will only be seen in a few months whether the realignment is worthwhile for Helene Fischer. But the first signs are good: In Germany, their latest album shot straight from 0 to 1, and in Switzerland, too, should be a top spot in the hit parade that will appear on Sunday afternoon.
