According to “Delfi” singer publishers from Warner Music Baltics, this will be the only concert of the singer’s “Future Nostalgia Tour” in the Baltic States.
The special guest of the concert in the Lithuanian concert will be the “Grammy” nominee, Swedish star Tove Lo.
Along with the news of the Lithuanian concert, other dates and places of Dua Lipa’s 2022 “Future Nostalgia Tour” will be announced. The tour will start on April 15, 2022 in Manchester, followed by 35 concerts in Europe – the already mentioned show in Kaunas, as well as performances in Lithuania, Finland and Norway, ending on June 28, in Sweden. “Unicef / Sunny Hill Foundation” will be transferred 1 euro for each concert ticket sold.
Albanian-born British pop star Dua Lipa has been a huge success in recent years and holds a strong position among the world’s most famous and successful names in contemporary pop music. Already with her debut single “New Love” (2015), Dua Lipa proved to be on the go, consolidating this fact a year later with her next hit “Be The One” and gaining the prestigious “BBC Sound Of 2016” as a promising young artist.
In 2017, Dua Lipa’s debut album won platinum status in the United States and England, as well as a record number of nominations at the 2018 BRIT Awards. At that time, the singer won the prestigious award as the best British solo singer and the best young British artist.
“Dua Lipa is showing his versatility and ability to hit” One Kiss “with Calvin Harris, who has been at the top of the singles chart for eight weeks and has earned the title of best-selling song in the UK,” the publishers say.
“Future Nostalgia” is Dua Lipa’s second album and is dedicated to her own sources of inspiration and idols such as Kylie Minogue, Madonna, Outkast and Gwen Stephanie. The songs on the album gained worldwide attention, reaching the top of many national charts – “Don’t Start Now”, “Physical” and “Break My Heart”. The album “Future Nostalgia” became the third best-selling album in 2020.
Tickets will go on sale this Friday, November 26 at 11 a.m. at the ticket office, while Live Nation Club members will be able to purchase tickets earlier, on November 24 from 10 a.m. with a special code that will be sent to members via registered mail.
