The Córdoba 2024 Book Fair is not just literature: as usual, there will also be musical presentations, this time with an important focus on local culture.
Yesterday, Nene Nena attracted a large number of people who stayed after the Rocambole performance to enjoy the anthems of Patricio Rey and his Redonditos de Ricota.
Today, pop artist Martina Malbrán will perform at 7 p.m. and then Nahart & Carpincho Revenge will perform at 8 p.m. with their funk rock and Milonga Sin Corte, with tango versions of rock and the quartet, at 9 p.m.
On Sunday the 13th, the long weekend will conclude with the urban music of Joel at 7 p.m. and the experimental pop of In another sense at 8 p.m.
The week will begin on Monday the 14th with the local bands Trifulca and Pichuco, at 7 and 8 p.m., respectively; and on Tuesday the 15th with Bren Coll and Leonardo Astor & The Future Band, at 7 and 8 p.m. that day.
On Wednesday the 16th it will be Collegium’s turn between books, at 5 p.m., the Small Jazz Band at 7 p.m. and the Municipal Youth Choir, at 8 p.m.; while on Thursday there will be Collegium entre Páginas, at 5 p.m., Hechizo animal, at 7 p.m., and Só will close at 8 p.m.
On Friday the 18th, the Municipal Youth Band, with classical, popular, jazz and score, at 4 p.m. and Mercuriales, with its hip hop and dream pop, at 9 p.m. will start the weekend.
On Saturday the 19th, the duo of María Ezquiaga & Ricardo Cabral will perform, with songs and spoken words, at 5 p.m. and Jeta Brava will close at 7 p.m. with its visual arts show, poetic recitation, rap songs, freestyles and beats .
And to put the finishing touch to the Fair, on Sunday the 20th, the day will end with the Collegium Big Band, from the Collegium Musical School, at 4:30 p.m. and the La Típica Vevo tango orchestra at 6 p.m.
