Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The competition for the best-selling car in the country is heating up after the Honda Brio small car again ranked number one in best-selling cars in October 2022. The Honda Brio last filled the king’s seat of RI cars in May 2022.
Honda Brio had sales of 5,601 units in October 2022. This number is higher than second-place Toyota Rush with 5,007 units and third-place Toyota Avanza with 4,958 units.
In fact, Avanza has managed to occupy the throne for 4 months in a row since June 2022. Now Avanza sales have dropped sharply compared to September 2022 which reached 6,855 units.
Honda Brio sales in October 2022 also decreased compared to the previous month, which reached 6,246 units.
While in fourth place the best-selling car for October 2022 comes from the low cost green car segment (LCGC). Namely the Toyota Calya with 4,913 units.
Its competitor in the MPV class, the Mitsubishi Xpander, is in fifth position, selling 4,837 units.
