A young woman from Treviso today indicated on Instagram as that of her father the identity of the person who, on March 16th, caused the death of her dog after allegedly throwing her from a moving car in Ponzano Veneto (Treviso).
The complaint
The man had in the meantime been identified and reported by the police. “What you see – writes the woman – is the real reason why my dog died, you want the name of the culprit: here he is. That’s right, my father”.
Volunteers from the National Animal Protection Agency and the mayor of Ponzano Veneto, Antonello Baseggio, had also mobilized to trace those responsible and had launched an appeal to the citizens.
Death after the agony
The suffering animal was noticed by a passerby who immediately notified the ENPA managers. The dog, who was 18 years old, had been taken into care by a local veterinary clinic but, despite her efforts, she died a few hours later from the injuries she sustained.
“Justice will be done – Enpa commented via social media – for a generation that destroys we have new generations that build”.
