Pontón sees no limits for Galicia to reach a new status of nation Radio Galicia

The Block does not set limits, not even to Galicia, to continue growing. The nationalists, as a party, as a project that feels on the rise and to be the real alternative to the autonomous government headed by the PP. And to the community to free itself from the centralist chains and to be able to achieve a new status of nation.

Thousands of people came from all corners of Galicia to Santiago to participate in the national demonstration of the Bloque Nacionalista Galego. All to support the BNG, but each to defend their particular interests. From Pontevedra, to cry out for Ence’s exit from the estuary. From Cotobade, to ask for the wind boom to stop.

Ana Pontón led a demonstration in which no one was missing from the Bloc’s leadership, and in which, as a star guest, the leader of ERC, Oriol Junqueras, who avoided making statements, but claimed to feel “very well treated” in Galicia .

Pontón proclaimed that Galicia “does not want to be forced to walk alongside a new status as a nation.” In this sense, he added that the community “cannot remain in the league of regions”, but rather “has to play in the league of nations.”

The opposition leader affirmed that the Block “is a solvent and solid alternative, a reliable alternative, which is in a position to lead the country”, in front of a PP “that leaves Galicia behind.”

To achieve this, he opened the arms of training to all Galicians, and opted for “not setting limits” to continue growing. The national spokeswoman charged against the government headed by Feijóo, for not exercising its powers, and against Sánchez, for not fulfilling its commitments with Galicia.

He also demonstrated against the Monarchy, on a day in which the kings of Spain were also in Compostela. In fact, the nationalists responded with boos when they saw the Eagle Patrol flying over the sky and drawing the flag of Spain on a date like Galicia Day.

Thus, he asserted that the BNG has “free hands” to “defend an electricity tariff, say Ence outside the estuary and denounce the corruption of the emeritus and the Royal House.”
