Pontault-Combault goes at 30 km / h in town

Pontault-Combault follows in the footsteps of Fontainebleau and Melun, already followers of 30 km / h in the city. For a little over a month, all the axes of the town have been affected by this measure with the exception of the RN4, the RD21 and the RD604. It was a campaign promise from Gilles Bord, the mayor of the city. The city council’s objective is obviously to better control the speeding violations observed in recent months. The aim is also to better protect pedestrians and other road users. This reduction in speed could also have the advantage of avoiding slowing down and therefore making traffic more fluid.
