Pont-Saint-Esprit: the 3rd Micro d’or competition unearthed its young talents

The Scène-Chapelle des Pénitents hosted, on Saturday, May 28, the vocal competition for the third edition of the Micro d’Or. This singing contest created and organized by the municipality is managed by the cultural department of the municipality.

The ten singers selected, all as motivated as each other, gave a lot so that the show lived up to their wishes. Throughout the evening, Nicolas Maury provided the show as master of ceremonies. The artists were accompanied by a trio of musicians (Vanessa on the piano, Yann on the guitar and Stéphane on the drums).

The management was carried out by Cyndie Vigier. In turn, singers and singers performed in front of the jury made up of Coralie Pressard from Art Scène (school of musical singing in Avignon), elected officials, Catherine Pecastaing, Suzanne Pagan, including the mayor Claire Lapeyronie who was present to present the prizes and sing the final song with the contestants.

During the jury’s deliberation, the artist O’Maley gave a mini-concert, accompanied by guitarist Thibaut Jaume. The large audience attended a very successful show.

Mathieu won the Micro d’or and the First Jury Prize for performing the song Grace Kelly from Mikhail. The second jury prize was awarded to Lucille for Indelible d’Yseult and the Public Prize was awarded to Morgane for When I was your man by Bruno Mars. Flora received the Jury’s Coup de Coeur for her interpretation of It doesn’t matter by Philippine Lavrey. Noemy and Lilly both received the Encouragement Award for We will go from Zaz et Chasing Cars from Snow Patrol.
