Pont-à-Mousson. First live concert for Louis

They locked themselves up the day before like pros, to repeat their ranges. After a one-day residency, Louis Blum, a young 18-year-old student, learned to overcome his stage fright. For him, this Friday evening looked like a baptism of fire. “It is not easy to get on stage, even without an audience in front,” understands Jonathan Malecki.

The latter, at the head of Imperial its production, a recording studio located in Pont-à-Mousson, was in charge of the management of lights, sound, and retransmission on social networks.

Because even without a “physical” audience, this concert left nothing to chance. By the time of the final rehearsals, Louis has already put on his stage costume. A trendy yellow tartan, a few lucky chains around the neck, cap riveted to the chef. The stage is set, with a flamingo as a mascot, and a skilfully installed mirror, to see the work of the young singer-musician on his keyboards.

Because if Louis has shown professionalism, it is a great feat that he has achieved. “I come from a family of musicians, and I practiced the piano on my own, before taking lessons four years ago,” he explains. A looper offered at Christmas a year ago, allows him to record sounds, given back in a loop, to offer the illusion of an orchestra.

Louis thus gave Imagine Dragons, or Italian artists known to initiates. There remains a very professional kick-off given at 8 p.m., for a concert, offered like a breath of fresh air, to all those deprived of live culture for many months. At Charles-Boquet school, others are in the starting blocks to follow the song to Louis. His concert is accessible in replay, on the Facebook page of the music school.
