The Secretary of State of the United States, Mike Pompeo, thanked the Dominican Republic for voting to extend the arms embargo on Iran at the United Nations Security Council.
Through his Twitter account, Pompeo published an image with the Dominican representative to the body, Ambassador José Singer.
He also indicated that he appreciates the support as they continue to work to prevent Iran from gaining access to new and powerful weapons.
“Thankful to the Dominican Republic for being with the United States and voting to extend the arms embargo on Iran at the @UN Security Council. We appreciate your support as we work to prevent Iran from gaining access to powerful new weapons, ”the secretary of state wrote.
