Pompeo noted that China could clarify everything that is happening in the world in a minute, if they wanted.

He also criticized the “ignorance” of leading infectious disease expert Anthony Fauci on the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). He called it “naive” to believe that the CCP is concerned that there are people in Wuhan who are dying. On Thursday morning, Fauci defended China on multiple occasions, telling CNN that “it is rather far-fetched to claim that the Chinese have deliberately created something that will kill themselves and others.”
