Pommelien Thijs hinted very clearly on Instagram last weekend to Miss Poes, one of the finalists of The Masked Singer. The singer is the number one prime suspect with the viewer, and her post seems to confirm the suspicion of many. Although it could just as well be a mismanagement manoeuvre.

It’s pretty daring to add a cat emoji to your Instagram post if you’re suspected of being Miss Kitty. If you also show in that same post that you get the high whistles that Miss Poes brought up in the program, the fence is completely off the dam. Yet Pommelien Thijs did exactly that two days ago. Is she just admitting she’s in Miss Poes’ suit?

That conclusion was drawn a little too quickly, a look at the Instagram page of second main suspect Camille Dhont tells us. Pommelien’s #LikeMe colleague posted a photo of herself in Disneyland on March 5, also with a cat emoji. A mouse would have made more sense since she’s wearing Mickey Mouse ears in the photo. Unless you want to refer to Miss Poes, of course…

The striking hints are reminiscent of the previous season of The Masked Singer† Then almost the same thing happened in the final week. Mathieu Terryn, frontman of Bazart, shared a diving mask emoji on his Instagram story at the time. Not coincidentally, he was one of the prime suspects for the character Duiker. But in the final Gio Kemper turned out to be in the diving suit. So misleading…

We will have to wait until Friday to find out which great singer is in the suit of Miss Poes.
