The good ratings of the reruns of ‘Sara‘, currently on show on VTM, prove it: the telenovelle is still hip. So VTM decided to set up a new production for the first time in nine years. It is called ‘Lisa’ and will focus on the extremely timid Lisa (with Tinne Oltmans in the lead role) and her ambitious half-sister Katja. The two live with their mother near a hip marketing agency and look with wide eyes at the vibrant world of creatives, vloggers, influencers and social media wizards.

A world that is no stranger to Pommelien Thijs. For the first time she may play a more adult role than the teenager she plays in ‘#LikeMe’. “Very exciting”, she says about it in Het Nieuwsblad. “It’s a very different kind of role than I’ve played so far, a young businesswoman. I didn’t see myself doing it right away, but it was director Elias Mentzel who convinced me. He also directed ‘#LikeMe’ and said: I see that in you. ”
