The largest Russian gold mining company Polyus may list depositary receipts on the Astana International Exchange in Kazakhstan. The final decision has not yet been made. This was reported Bloomberg with reference to sources.
Also, according to Bloomberg, another gold mining company, Polymetal, may register its parent company with the Astana International Financial Center. Earlier, the agency reported that the company is also considering an initial listing on the stock exchange in Abu Dhabi. A final decision on this issue has not yet been made.
Earlier in March, trading was launched on the Astana International Exchange for the head structure of Rusagro Ros Agro Plc and the retailer O`KEY Group. Polyus also reported that it was negotiating trading on alternative sites while they were blocked on the London Stock Exchange.
