Chairman of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) Ahmad Shabri Lubis said Habib Rizieq Syihab (HRS) will soon return to Indonesia and lead the revolution. Upon this statement, the National Police was asked to take action.
Karo Penmas, Public Relations Division Police Headquarters Brigjen Awi Setiyono said that his party needed to study the statements made by Ahmad Shabri Lubis. The aim is to ensure that there is a criminal element.
“Later we will learn. Yes, later we will learn,” said Awi at the Police Headquarters, South Jakarta, Wednesday (14/10/2020).
As is well known, the news that Habib Rizieq would soon return to Indonesia and lead a revolution was conveyed by Shabri when the demonstration refused all the law Job Creation Law. According to Shabri, the ban and fines related to Habib Rizieq in Saudi have been removed.
“High Imam Habib Rizieq Syihab will soon return to Indonesia to lead the revolution,” said Shabri from the command car during a demonstration in Jakarta, Tuesday (13/10).
This statement was criticized by members of Commission I DPR RI from the faction PAN, Farah Puteri Nahlia. Farah assessed that Habib Rizieq knows what is good and bad for the Indonesian people. According to him, revolution is not a solution. He also asked the police to investigate Shabri’s statement.
